Sagar theatre on Kempegowda Road was the main theatre.It ran successfully at sagar for 25 continuous weeks and the earnings were Rs.7,53,858.21 in Sagar theatre alone.The movie ended its screening in sagar on 21.06.1973 and was screened in KempeGowda theatre from next day that is 22.06.1973 to 30.08.1973 for a duration of 10 weeks. As a Singer: "I am not a singer, If I sing then the original singers will be humiliated," vishnu had once said.But due to the pressure from his fans, he started singing in movies occasionally and of late,he has started singing devotional songs. The first song he sang was in the movie Nagarahole. The Song was "EE Notake Mai Matake" and the heroin was bharathi. The first devotional album sung by him was on "Lord Ayappa".The title of the album was "Jyothiroopa Ayappa" and was a big hit.His other albums were "Thayi Bhanashankari" on goddess banashankari, One more album on Ayappa called Vishwapremi Ayappa.He has also sung devotinal songs on Dharmastala's Lord Manjunathaswamy,Malemadeshwara and Ranachandi chamundi.
